This Year’s Theme is Open!
Open is a word with many definitions – at last count, over 20 on Merriam-Webster.com. It is a noun (an open space or opportunity), a verb (to give or open an access point), and an adjective (to have an opening, like a doorway or a gate). It is a word often used in library contexts to describe resources (OERs), education practices (OEPs), policies, spaces, learning, scholarship, software, and more!
Join us on Thursday, May 31, 2018, as we explore what Open means to you. How does the word “Open” influence, inspire or challenge? How does the theme of Open relate to your own work within the library profession?
In the spirit of Openness, help us shape the 2018 Connect5 conference. Add your ideas of what the theme Open means for libraries to our conference Padlet below (just double-click on the pink plus sign)! We will incorporate your ideas into the session planning for this year.
